The Athens United Immigration Support Project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a board of volunteers. Our purpose is to provide safe living conditions and other forms of support to individuals and families seeking asylum in the United States. Our efforts include educating the Athens community about the U.S. immigration system and challenges immigrants face.
